You had me there for a moment with the Northern Lights photos until I realised it was Winter here and not there! It's been a dream of mine to see both them and the Midnight Sun but you have to either go on two trips - a summer and a winter one - or two very long ones to see both. We had a good viewing of the Midnight Sun in Bodo and had a similar viewing of the Northern Lights to you but ours was at a talk given at the University in Fairbanks.
